Remove the hammer bit from the hole...

Here's how...

When rebar is encountered while drilling
with a rotary hammer and a carbide hammer bit,
immediately stop the hammer and remove the bit
from the hole (failure to do this will severely
damage a carbide hammer bit-regardless of
manufacturer's claims).

  • Low Rpm's (without stalling drill motor)
  • Ample operator pressure (without stalling drill motor)
  • Remove steel "slug" from hole or rebar cutter
  • Dry-cut recommended
  • Designed to cut steel
  • Always use a sharp rebar cutter

  • Always use a Relton masonry bit
