STEP 1:

Drill concrete until you just hit the rebar...

Remove the hammer bit from the hole...

Here's how...

When rebar is encountered while drilling
with a rotary hammer and a carbide hammer bit,
immediately stop the hammer and remove the bit
from the hole (failure to do this will severely
damage a carbide hammer bit-regardless of
manufacturer's claims).

  • ROTARY-ONLY
    Low Rpm's (without stalling drill motor)
    Ample operator pressure (without stalling drill motor)
    Remove steel "slug" from hole or rebar cutter
    Dry-cut recommended
    Designed to cut steel
    Always use a sharp rebar cutter
    Always use a Relton rebar cutter
    Always use a Relton masonry bit
